We're Taking Requests Up Here On The Bandstand

Ok, we’re back.

In response to I don’t even know how many emails and phone calls which can be summarized by the following,

"What the hell are you doing?”

Well, we had the big damn garage sale in which we managed to move to a new home about a fifth of the stuff that I thought needed to live elsewhere.

Included in the stuff that has been provided with a new life was just under 500 books and maybe another 250 cds.

It was within the process of going through the books that the trouble started.

First, I found a no kidding 15 books that I had bought but never even cracked, evidently I’m the Imelda Marcos of books.

Secondly, I became very excited at actually being able to see the tops of almost all of my tables and file cabinets.

This caused me to want to tear my office apart and rearrange it, which subsequently caused me to want to tear my PC apart and rearrange it.

Bonehead.

Anyway, the upside is that I’m now pretty good at putting PCs back together having done it now an easy four or five times in the past week.

In between tearing stuff apart and putting it back together, I’ve been reading these books (Ok Ok … skimming) so that they too can be moved to a new home.

At this sitting it's pretty much a clean slate around here as I’ve not one new post in queue, so it’ll be slow for a bit.

If you ever thought you’d like to send us a thought, either directly for those of you that have my info or through the facebook page, go for it.

We’re taking requests up here on the bandstand.

This of course includes Madelyn and whoever the other somebody was, who will get that healthcare post.
